Summer Work Permits

Do you need a work permit for the summer?  Work permits can be downloaded from the Labor and Economic Opportunity Website. Here is the link LEO website.  Links are also located at the bottom of this information.  If you are unable to download one, you may obtain it from the central office.  Steps to filling out the work permit are as follows: 

1.  Fill out the Section 1 of the work permit.  

2.  Take the permit to your employer and have them fill out Section 2.

3.  Bring the completed permit to the Central Office at 4882 Stanton Boulevard, Monday thru Thursday 8 am to 4 pm.

When bringing in the work permit, also bring an acceptable form of evidence of age such as: a certified birth certificate, a school id, or a valid driver's license.  We will review your information, and fill out section 3 of the permit.  Once complete, a copy is made and the original is returned to you.  You will give this completed work permit to your employer.
