Dear NBC Middle School Community,

Welcome to Montague’s Nellie B Chisholm Middle School! My name is Steve Gray and I look forward to being your NBC principal this year. This will be my 20th year in education. I have served in middle school and high school classrooms in Michigan, Indiana, and Ecuador, South America. I am committed to enabling our students to feel confident, supported, and inspired to learn.

NBC Middle School pursues academic excellence by encouraging curiosity, building character, and preparing students to reach their full potential. Each student is welcomed and supported in a safe and nurturing environment. Our goal is to create an environment in which each student will grow and develop academically, socially, and emotionally. 

I look forward to partnering with families, staff, and the Montague community to provide NBC students with a rich academic experience. I hope that you will find your time at NBC to be rewarding.
