Request for Bid - Clearing and Grubbing

Montague Area Public Schools is accepting bids for clearing and grubbing two small parcels located at 4900 Stanton Blvd. Montague, MI 49437.

The project consists of the approved contractor to provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to to remove existing tree stumps and roots and hauling the removed material to the district's property at 72nd Ave. and Webster Rd.  The complete bid scope can be obtained from Tom Cederquist, Operations Director at Montague Area Public Schools, at cederquistt@mapsk12.org.  Bid envelopes shall be sealed and bear the notation “BID: CLEARING AND GRUBBING”, be addressed to the attention of Tom Cederquist, and be received at the Montague Area Public Schools Central Office, 4882 Stanton Blvd., Montague MI 49437 by Sep 14, 2023 by 2:00PM.  Bids will be opened at this time and read publicly aloud in the Central Office conference room.  Successful bidders will be required to submit a Certificate of Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance.  Project is to be started as soon as possible and be completed by October 30, 2023.  Montague Area Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
