Community Feedback Survey

Montague Area Public Schools has received state funds to carry out activities to improve student mental health and student safety.

The Administration of Montague Area Public Schools is seeking feedback from all district and community stakeholders to help determine how the district should best utilize these funds. Please take time to let us know your opinion by completing a brief survey by Friday, May 19, 2023.

If you have additional input, time will be provided to address the Board of Education during the Public Comment portion of the Board meeting on Monday, June 12, 2023.

ALLOWABLE USES OF THE FUNDS:
*Additional support staff for student mental health needs
*Providing school-based mental health services or products, such as screening tools and access to consultation with behavioral health clinicians to improve or maintain the mental health of students and staff
*Coordination with local law enforcement
*Training for school staff on threat assessment, threat response, and crisis communication
*Training for students on threat response
*Safety infrastructure
*Any other school safety service or product necessary to improve or maintain security in buildings
