Schools of Choice
The Collaborative Schools of Choice Program is a plan that offers parents and students a choice to attend other public schools in the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District outside their district of residence.
School of Choice information for the 2016-2017 school year:
Students Living in Muskegon County (MAISD Collaborative Schools of Choice Program)
- Parents may request a Schools of Choice form from the Central Office between April 11, 2016 and May 27, 2016.
- The completed form MUST be returned to Stacey Brown at the Central Office by Friday, May 27, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.
- Parents will be notified by July 1 with the acceptance or denial of their request.
Students Living Outside of Muskegon County (Schools of Choice 105c)
- Students living outside of Muskegon County have until Friday, September 9th to request and return a Schools of Choice application to the Central Office.
For the 2016 -2017 school year, there are unlimited openings for Schools of Choice students in grades K-12. Note that a prior suspension or expulsion may result in a Schools of Choice application being denied.
